03 Tahoe ceramic or metallic pads?

Hi all, I was told the manufacture recommends ceramic pads for a 2003 Chevy Tahoe. Others say SUV's are supposed to have metallic pads. Which is correct?

Either one. Ceramics will dust up more but they like to run hot and they will stop quicker. That's what I use on my vehicles.
