MY HVAC ONLY BLOW AIR TO THE FLOOR, AC & HEAT WORK IT JUST WON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE. IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE AND WOULD DO THIS FOR A COUPLE DAYS THEN EVERYTHING WOULD WORK AGAIN. iS IT THE CLIMATE CONTROL OR WOULD IT BE THE ACTUATOR. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME.

 

SOBO it could be both or just one, I am not sure if the 04 has just an elctrical actuator or a vaccum actuator. If it is vac only then you can see if it has vac on it when you switch the selector, if it does have vac then more than likely the actuator is bad or just sticking, especially since it come and goes. If no vac then you would need to check the selector switch and vac lines or voltage.
