Default 04' suburban key will not turn

2004 chev suburban key goes into ignition but will not turn? Steering wheel is not locked? car is in park, foot on break, but key will not turn? Any helpful ideas on how to fix this problem I need to move the car asap. Can't push because I can't change gears without key turning!

...sorry for the late response...I am sure you have this fixed by now. While not sure if the symptoms were the same I did experience this once on my 2000 burb. I was able to spray silicone spray into the key opening and work the key in and out and all of a sudden it let me turn it.

Pocket lint and dirt is the culprit many times.
Another thing that works well is to shoot some Brake-Kleen in the key cylinder and then blast it out with compressed air.
