sounds like you are still have theft deterrent issues. there should be body codes set if the theft system is active. can you get the codes read...a full function scan tool is needed.

does the key blade have a pk3 or + symbol stamped into it? If not, the vehicle uses passlock 2 system. you may need to have the system reprogrammed at the dealer. Passlock2 system have a resistor chip in the lock cylinder housing...the theft deterrent relearns you have tried aren't working so the next step is dealer programming.

if the programming fails, they may tell you a new passlock sensor (.ie not used) is required.

I have access to a Tech-2 scan tool with the opel mci dodad. I saw a video on YouTube on how to do what a dealership would do but I could only get as far as downloading the vehicle info to the scan tool as I don't have the TI Module or a computer that has the software I need. At least that's how I understand it. On the ACDelco website it shows I can buy a 3 day subscription. Will that have the necessary software I need to reprogram my BCM. And if not if I buy a new BCM will I have to have a dealership program it or will it be capable of learning the right codes when I cycle the ignition like I've read. My key has no stamps you referred to. Thank you so much for your reply

i don't know if a opel memory card will work for gm products...i think you need a different card to do a theft deterrent relearn. I know the astra uses a different card.

2ndly...the procedure you may need is a reprogram not a 10 minute theft deterrent relearn. This involves getting the information from a server and transferring a program into the module.

You may be able to do a method of pass through programming from the server into the scan tool into the vehicle using a ethernet cable. I can't say for sure as this is internet diagnosis. So $30 and take a chance or spend the cost to do a reprogramming at the dealer; should be approx 1 hour labour charge.
