Yes, I know about replacing the green/blue plastic bearing and have done that. But, the lower two piece shafts feel dry when sliding them. Has anyone taken them apart to lube them rather than simply replacing it ? I'll bet someone has. Thanks. *BW*

 

if you are refering to the steering intermediate shaft; yep, you can lube it up. It will work for a while, if the noise returns, replace part.

 

I thought this was a manufacturer recall warranty item
