We purchased this truck to pull our 7500 lb travel trailer and it does a great job pulling! Our issue is my wife uses it as her car the other 95% of the time as a stay-at-home mom. So 95% of time it has way too much power and gets way too poor gas mileage. I keep it weel maintained and up to date with service however wondering if there's a chip to trade power for gas mileage when we're not towing? Maybe even shut down some of the cylinders however revert back to default when we tow?

Might try Blackbear Performance. Justen does custom tunes. Cylinder shutdown won't happen tho.
