Default 05 Suburban Auto Ride Lift

Hello all,
I have a 05 Suburban 1500 4WD LT with auto ride. I would like to put a leveling kit on it. From what I can tell it’s pretty pricey for the auto ride lift. Im pretty sure the auto ride has was disabled before I bought it because it has air bags on the rear. The “service auto ride” light is always on and has been for the last 5 years. I took it to a shop years ago and they told me that it had been disabled because of the air bags and to get that light to turn off they would have to bypass something but that it really doesn’t make a difference. My question is, can I buy the regular lift kit (for non auto ride burbs) since I don’t use the auto ride? Thanks for your help.
