'07 4WD System
Can anyone give me details on how the 4WD system works on the new '07 Tahoe? I currently drive a Grand Cherokee with the Quadra-Drive system. The thing that I like most about this is that it is all automatic. If a tire starts slipping, it engages another, and another, and another as necessary to the point where all four wheels could be engaged.
Does the Tahoe 4WD-automatic setting work this way? Or, will it only engage one front wheel, and one rear wheel if it senses slipping tires?

Alright dude, autotrac in the 07 tahoe works as follows, front axels are locked together, and when the 4wd modul senses rear tires going faster then the fronts the front engauges. Although, and I must say that this is great, Stabili trac, my 05 avalanche has it, oh my it's awesome, you strat fish tailing, even in 2wd it straightens you out without taking away power like most cars would. And with autotrac and stabilitrac - gm has it going on
So, pick up my 07 tahoe today, and yeah the auto 4wd works as i described above, although the truck also has 2wd with stabilitrac. stabilitrac applies brakes to the wheels that spin, using steering wheel position and abs data it straightens the truck out.
