My wife knocked off the body piece that holds the 2 lights and hatch button, that is mounted above license plate; little or no damage to that piece, but it did distort some of the lil' snap button-notches in it, also broke off a couple of the snap /push/holding buttons in the body or hatch door,,,, what is the name of these body buttons, so I know what to search for and purchase,,, with new push-in holding buttons and a lil' glue , I am pretty sure I can save everything and get it back to normal.

 

It's a push retainer. If you search GM push retainer on Amazon, a whole bunch of hits come up. I do know there are several different sizes.

ok, there is a part 2,,,,,,,,,,, the push retainers are not really a problem,,, what also happened, is the holder, or notch, that 'pops' onto the retainers, on the fixture itself was broken,, so maybe some JB Weld and some patience can rebuild that,,, I wanted to drill a hole on each end and use stainless screws to hold the fixture on,,, that was denied,,,,, so,,,,,,,,,, Ebay or Auto Salvage,,,, what would the whole piece be called,,,, license light fixture, holder, cover, need to search for one,,,,,,,,,,,
