07' hesitation
Known issue that occurs on occasion, there is a new ECM software calibration update in the works to address this, should be out in the next few weeks.
Now there is a situation where if you come to a stop or nearly stopped and then immediately apply hard throttle the torque management system will prevent (or slow) the throttle from opening abruptly to allow for the downshift to 1st gear without jarring your teeth out, remember this is a throttle-by-wire system so the computer has control over it.
They are also looking at a way to minimize this effect.

Just curious. Does this mean if you floor it from a dead stop, that the throttle butterfly will not open as fast as a mechanical setup? I think I know the answer but just wanted to know for sure.
the main problems with the tahoes are hesitatain mainly from alot of miles the intake gaskets start leaking and they have faulty fuel injector im going through that problem myself right now it started hesitating 10000 miles ago theres 170000 on mine now not really had any major problems with my 97 would not trade it 4 anything
