Default 07 LT Suburban getting low oil after 1k miles

I've taken my truck to the dealership five times so far about this issue. My truck would be about 1 to 1.5 quart low before the 3k oil change. The dealer has me on this oil consumption test to see where my oil levels are at ever 1k miles after I mentioned it a second time to them. The first tests after a oil change at 2k (went 1k over) miles showed 1.2quarts low, then the second test at 1k miles showed 1 quart low. I went back the other night for my third test at 1k miles and it showed no oil loss. I have to go back again at another 1k miles for them to test the levels again. I'm worried cause my guy at the dealership said that there is a known problem with the 07 hoes and burbans with the E85 engines. He said that they ususally have to redo the pisitons and the pistion rings. Has anyone out there heard of this issue? I'm worried cause I've only got about 20k miles left on my warranty and I don't want to get passed this issue and then as soon as the warranty expires I've got a blown engine due to low oil.
