Well dont be tempted, just buy mine. Trust me, I shopped everywhere including ebay. You wont find the kit shipped for less than $450 anywhere. Just buy mine, then post pics and make me jealous!!!

Well, after I finish the Esky taillight conversion and the side exit duals like those that Biggmon just did, and change all the noisy as hell polygraphite bushings[] back to stock rubber in my GTO, and take the flowmasters off my wife's Mustang I'll think about it. Yours will have been long sold by then and you probably will have purchased another set anyway!!!

too many projects, too little time

Off topic but since you opened the door . . . I knew the straight poly bushings squeaked like a banshee (put some on a friend's '66 427/450 and even hear them over the side exhaust) but I thought the polygraphite was supposed to cure that. I'm about ready to rebuild my '73 and was considering them.

Are yours squeaking or just noisy from being a stiffer suspension?

Hey Shark, I suggest you dont do it, unless your going to road race it or something. I did the my whole suspension in a 1969 Corvette with the Polygraphite bushings. Not only did it squeak all the time, it made the car ride twice as rough. So much that I didnt enjoy driving the car anymore so I sold it.

Sorry for butting in, but I am bored.

Thanks for the info. When I autocrossed, Ialways used the polys on the sway bars and links with no noise. I think I'm going to go with the stock rubber on the A-arms. I agree on the rough ride as my friend's rides like an emptygravel truck but it sure goes. [sm=gears.gif]

I bought the PST complete polygraphite kit and while I was doing my frame off did every single bushing in the car because the polygraphite was supposed to be squeak free. BS, BS, BS. Don't believe what you read. Poly bushings are race only. My car sounds like such a POS it is embarassing. Nothing you do (injecting lithium grease, WD40, etc.) quiets them down and they actually get noisier with age.

Sorry Landon. I was going toPaypal you the money this morning and then last night we get hit with a storm that leaves 15" of snow in my front yard. I am like you and have been battling myself on the lowering kit since buying my Tahoe1 month ago. I guess this was a sign to keep it as it's orignal height. I will be high riding in my Hoe. Thanks for all you help though.

Gpheezy,
If all you got is 15" then it is now problem. It will still plow right through it! Send the money over, I will that thing on its way tonight, you should have it for a weekend task. It will be fun!
