I installed the embossed (non colored) bowtie splash guards you showed a picture of on my 07 Suburban with running boards. They installed easily and look like they came with the truck from the factory.

Hi,
I am looking at getting a set of the GM mud guards for my 07 tahoe. What are the installation steps? I am guessing drilling? Or do they attach without drilling? Do the wheels have to come off to install them? THanks in advance!

No drilling required. They use existing screws in the wheel wells. Tires and wheels need not come off either.

sjenkinzz,

So I can put these on in my own garage without lifting the vehicle or removing the tires?

I once tried to put some mudflaps on and had a terrible time without removing the wheel. I wasnt able to get the screw drive in the wheel well as needed with the wheel in place. This isnt an issue with this set of flaps?

I installed the factory front and rear mudflaps in my driveway in about 15 minutes without having to remove tires/wheels with only a flat and phillips head on a power screwdriver.
So easy a caveman could do it.

LOL. Thanks for the info. I was just afraid the tire/wheel would be in the way to try and get the screwdriver to the screws without removing the tire. Thanks, I am sure I am capable of handling it. Thanks.
