Default 07 Stereo changes

Ok, so I have a 02 tahoe with an AVIC D1 with xm, i just got a 07 tahoe and it has some ****ty sony xplod screen. I need to get rid of my 02, but i am converting it back to stock. Can anyone give me a heads up on if i might need to hit up crutchfield for some extra parts. The 07 has the sony xplod screen, no xm antenna (got shaved along with the onstar antenna, pissed about that) and does not work with the steering wheel buttons (no biggie). The 02 with the AVIC, has and XM antenna, nav antenna. Should it be a pretty easy swap? I played around a bit in the 07, heard a nasty crack noise with a put a little prying pressure on the plastic cover around the head unit. Any tricks on getting that off that i don't know?
