Default 07 Tahoe autoride question

I searched with no luck for my particular issue. Just replaced the rear shocks with new bags(bad idea I know now). Upon reassembly the auto ride compressor will turn on for roughly 5 seconds when the vehicle is started then turns off and never turns on again. The shocks haven’t filled up at all and the ride is very bumpy and rough. Any suggestions? Anyone know why the compressor turns off right after turning on?

New stock air shocks or you added air bags ? Either you have an air leak or compressor is bad if stock air shocks are not filling up. Auto ride compressor will not fill up air bags only stock air shocks.

Sorry I replaced the old air shocks with new air shocks. I have since learned the old compressor was just about seized up. Ordered a brand new compressor and have the same exact issue. Start vehicle. Compressor turns on for 5ish seconds. Cuts off. Never turns back on. Shocks never inflate. I have even flexed the car out in a ditch trying to get it to come back on. All fuses and relays are checking ok.
