Default 07 Tahoe Gearing

My truck feels a little slow out of the pocket, and I was wondering if a change in gear ratio could give me the get-up-and-go I'm looking for, and what that ratio might be. I'd also like to know any suggestions for places to get a kit. She has a 6" lift with 35" tires. All help appreciated!!!

Most of that it due to the torque management programed into the computer. You can get a custom tune to remove all or some of it. I have heard lots of good things about a Black Bear tune.

With 35" tires a set of 4.10's or 4.56's would make all the difference.

Not sure that the torque mgmt wouldn't overwhelm even this combo. Blackbear does a custom tune on your ECM. http://www.blackbearperformance.com/

I emailed them at black bear to get some info. Seems like a very promising avenue, I'll keep gearing in mind though in case for some reason it's not what I'm looking for....thanks for all the help!
