Default 07 Tahoe Mirror Cover Removal

How do you remove the painted covers off the exterior mirrors?

Haven't done it myself but have read other threads either here or other forums and it sounds easy but you have to be careful and not break the tabs when you pop the covers off.

I found instructions online somewhere, but I don't remember where.I remember it beingvery easy to do. I plan to swap out my chrome ones for painted ones.

Let me know how the cap removal goes. I just purchased a set of DL3 mirrors on e-bay and I will remove the caps if they have many scratches.
