ZF is correct, my 07 Yukon you hit the lock button once and then hold down the remote start button and it cranks right up.

Thanks again ZX! My dealer instructed me to hit the button 2x and then hold the start button. I thought the system was a P.o.S. and gave up trying to use it because it was a 50/50 shot at it working. Since I've been hitting lock once and it works perfectly.
Bu the way, thanks for the advise on my battery run down issue. The dealer replaced the battery and found that they needed to do an update to the BCM and there have been no problems since.
Hey, is the diver memory system different since the last generation of Tahoe? My '05 would not only remember seat & mirror position but also radio station and even volume. Our '07 doesn't change the radio back.

Good stuff.............I guess my problem was that I would continuously hit the lock button and wait for my tahoe to honk so that I new I was in range and then I'd try cranking it up....and there lies my error. Thanks for the help

Starting in late production 2006 models the radio settings are no longer part of the memory function.
Too many warranty claims from customers thinking the radio was defective when it was simply the memory function working correctly but either a poor delivery was done at the dealership or the customer (and many service technicians) failed to fully understand the features operational characteristics so it was decided to eliminate this to save the confusion.
