Hi,
service air bag light came on, code b0083-00 left front impact sensor.
So, I replaced the drivers side sensor. Started up and light still on.
Do I have to clear the code or should it go off on it's own?
Is there a way to test the old sensor with like a meter?

i would clear the code. no way to test the old one. techs swap the left and right sensors and if the code follows the sensor you know the sensor is bad.
