hi all i know this has bin discused before on forums but really never found a positive answer okay on a cold start usually over night is when i have had this problem i turn my burban on then turn the a/c on and this ridiculouslly loud noise happens like a flapping or thumping can make it out if its under the dash or in the engine cause i am afraid to leave the a/c on when it happens does anyone really know what causes this only happens once in a while but going on a 1200 mile trip and dont wont to take chances,i would apreciate any help thanks all again

thank you for the help i guess the the solution is to change the compressor? the video was spot on that was a big one i thought no one knew what i was talking about thanks again

 

If it is making the sound while you are driving it probably is the compressor, if it only does it on start up it might just be the software update...
