Guys,
I have been looking for the right 08 Tahoe LTZ for a month now and have had no luck. My used car guy has found a totally loaded 08 LT3. But I have not seen it and may not be able to. Are the leather seats the same for both the LT and LTZ? Is the dash the same? The truck has Nav and convenience, comfort and decor package, smooth ride suspension. I can probably get the chrome grill and door pulls installed. But if the seats are different and the dash is different then I would probably pass. Is anyone familiar with both the LT3 and LTZ that could help me understand the difference?? Thanks for taking time to respond.

 

Welcome to the Tahoe forum. The leather and dash are the same on the LT3 and LTZ. Try to get a dealer brochure which describes in painful detail in the back the differences between the different packages.

 

The dealer does not have 08 brocures left. But thanks for confirming the question. So, is there anything other then autoride and chrome grill/handles that cannot be equipped on an LT3? Sorry if my question is ignorant, I am totally new to GM/american cars.

 

Power running boards is the only other option that I could find in my '08 brochure that you can't get on the 3LT.

 

I was hoping for a nice used 08 LTZ... I am now waiting on the 09... if you can hold go, do it... 2 way remote, 6 speed w/less moving parts, and blue tooth in the sat nav...

I'm mostly into the tranny which they pulled from the corvette and beefed up... it uses some cool tech to smooth shifting, and gets 1 more mpg than the 08

the 2 way remote is excess, but so cool... and blind zone alert thing is on the 09...
