Default 09 Chevy Tahoe 4.8L 0 oil pressure and system not pressurized

I have an 09 Tahoe and i had a leaking radiator (fluid always dry in reservoir) so i had it replaced. The radiator that i received had 2 extra ports that arent used. After this change was done i noticed that my heat took long to get hot. With a hot system i can remove the cap with little no no pressure in the system. Also my oil pressure gauge was maxed out at 80 yesterday and now its at 0 today but no engine light is on. Any assistance would be grateful. It acts like it wants to overheat when idle but when moving it drives normal and actually never overheats.

I would usually NEVER recommend anyone do this but because every well known website I use to get oem parts has the rad. back ordered. Go to a Chevy dealer and see if you can get a rad from them. Or go to a repair shop and ask if you could have them order the correct rad.

I have been doind some research and someone mentioned adding a restrictor.
"2005 suburban would not heat up to normal temp did some research. Had to add restrictor to small hose going from top of radiator to the tank. This radiator was wide open making coolant flow faster through the system when thermostat closed. I used a tip of a cheap air blow gun to restrict the flow and heats up and holds temp like it should now." I need to find out how to do this
