Default '09 rear camera harness location

I'm installing the Gen5 Lockpick and have not been able to locate the proper harness where the rear camera is powered. Can anyone tell me where this module is exactly. Everyone says under the passenger seat but there is about four different modules under there. All help is appreciated.

Thanks

there is no module in the 09's. It is now an integral part of the camera

Default Rear camera power wire '09

Would you happen to know where the best and easiest place to find the rear camera power wire is so I can tap in the Gen5?

There is a light gray connector at the junction block under the dash near your left foot. It is connector 11, in pin 5 there should be a blue wire. That is that signal to turn the camera on. It is the wire that comes out of the BCM to turn the reverse lights on.....so if you are gonna tap into it, make sure you diode isolate it to prevent your reverse lights coming on

I just got a 2009 Chevy truck with the factory camera installed and the rear mirror monitor. No Nav system. I want to be able to turn the camera on when in drive at any time. If I hook a switch to the above pin 5 giving it 12vdc, will this turn the camera on?
I understand I need to block the VDC to the rear lights with a diode.
But injecting voltage on this pin should turn the camera on? Is 12v the correct voltage?
Thanks

Default the12v

I was gonna suggest the12volt.com too... I keep going back/forth on modding my VSS wire to allow destination entry while rolling... I want to do it, but is there any chance it would void my 60/5 yr bumper to bumper?

12v is the correct voltage, but you will also need to put 12 onto the same blue wire found at the rearview mirror. It is in pin 9 at the mirror

Sabr.....It is at the dealerships discretion on whether or not your modification voids the warranty. At most, they will be able to void warrant on the radio and\or related wiring\components.
So if they want to be ******, they have the authority to say, "someone has been messing around in here, i'm not touching it anymore"
most places, if they think the mod is causing a problem, will just make you reverse the mod before they continue with their diagnosis.

Couldn't I just put 12v at the connector by the mirror and accomplish the same thing?
Diode on BCM/ Tail light side. If it is the same wire that should work. I already have switches for strobe lights with a 12v supply there. That would make it super easy if that works.
