Default 12 miles left on my warranty....

and all I'm getting done is a new battery and the peeling paint on the steering wheel fixed! Not too bad.
And the recall for the washer fluid heater. They are sending me a $100 check for that. Doubt I need to heat my washer fluid when it was 100 degrees yesterday in San Diego!!!

The first recall was to replace the wiring harness. Then I think they did a complete disconnect on it. GM screwed the pooch on this one. Changed their req'ts after the supplier had already manufactured the heaters. GM drove them into bankruptcy.

I think they quit installing them in 2009. I put the one in by the company that bought the rights to the design. Helps w/ bug guts in the summer and here in the Midwest, we get plenty of those. Some of the hard shelled ones sound like a rifle shot when they hit.
