Doing a swap on the motor for my project suburban. The orig 1989 350 tbi motor was junk. I want to keep the tbi and everything stock so I put a 97 vortec 350 long block in it and purchased the gm intake (part #12496821) that allows you to keep tbi with vortec heads. Very expensive but keeps everything right imo. The only thing is, the throttle cable bracket doesn't work with this intake as far as placement. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance.
