Default 1993 Chevy Suburban 2-3 Solenoid Shift Valve

So this is my first time posting. I have a 1993 Chevy Suburban that I have had almost 10 years. I refuse to give up on it.
It has a 4l60e transmission. I had to replace the Pressure Switch Manifold and that went fine. I decided to remove the valve body and clean it out. I removed the solenoids and the valves and cleaned everything with Mineral Spirits then blew it out with compressed air. I am having a problem getting the valves used for the 2-3 Solenoid Shift back to the end of the bore. The 2-3 Solenoid Shift consist of *2-3 shift valve*, *2-3 shuttle valve* and the *solenoid*. The 2-3 shift valve goes first into the bore. It goes all the way in the bore but gets stuck about 1 inch before the end of the bore. I have removed it and blew out the bore with compressed air several times and it is clean. I do not know why it will not go all the way back in. I am thinking that the inside of the bore may have been damaged when the valves were removed but I cant tell. I uploaded 3 photos. 1 is of the entire Valve Body with a red arrow pointing to the 2-3 Shift Solenoid and where the 2-3 shift valve is stuck in the bore. The 2nd photo is a close up of the 2-3 shift valve with a red arrow showing where it is stuck. The 3rd is a photo of the 2-3 Solenoid Shift ( valves and solenoid) before installation and there is a red arrow pointing to the valve (2-3 shift valve) that is getting stuck. Any one have any suggestions?
