Looking for replacement striker for my 1995 Tahoe tailgate. GM part has been discontinued. Anybody know if the ones from the front door will work?

I'd be surprised if ones from a GM pickup truck aren't the same. But on the other hand, nothing about GM surprises me !!!

If yours are simply bent, can you remove them, place in a bench vise, and straighten/refurbish yours?

 

How did that happen?
