Default 1995 Suburban C1500 Gearbox replacement issues

Hi all!

I have a 1995 2wd Suburban with a 4L60E which is ruined.

I've managed to locate another transmission from a 1995 Camaro as I'm aware it must be from that year only.

Old transmission out and everything is exactly the same from what I can see apart from the neutral safety switch, my current box it's bolted to the side but the Camaro box doesn't appear to have one.

Can we bypass this switch or are there other issues I can't see?

Thanks in advance for your knowledgable advice, don't fancy putting the new transmission in to find an issue and take it back out again!

If you bypass the switch, you're removing a safety device that will prevent you from driving thru your garage or worse yet, hitting someone. That being said you can probably bypass it.
