I recently purchased a 96 K1500 Suburban, but it has some issues.

The biggest issue is a type of grinding noise, it sounds like it's coming either from the front or the middle of the car. And I have somewhat an idea of what it is. And the funny thing is that the grinding noise is only happening in 2WD, not in 4WD.

I have been searching for a looong time and haven't been able to find a working solution yet.

I found another forum that listed the same fault, and it suggested to unplug the 4wd actuator on the front axle. But that didn't work.

So please, if anyone has any suggestions, please forward them.
