Default 1996 Tahoe died and won't start

I was driving my Tahoe down the highway at 65 mph and it suddenly died. It would not restart. I towed it home and I still could not restart it. I checked the fuel pump and it works fine with plenty of pressure. I checked for spark and I didn't have any. I got it to start but it died after a few minutes and then I had no spark again. I replaced the ICM and the coil and it still won't start. I noticed that when I was trying to turn it over the battery would start to get low fairly fast. I was told to try and start by jumping it and if it stayed running then the alternator is bad. That didn't work either. I am to the point of having it towed to an electrical shop but I don't have the money so i'm turning to this forum for help. Please!

Well since my first post I have also replaced the Pickup coil and I've tested my fuel system pressure (55lbs). I'm at a loss. My distributer is less than 1 1/2 years old.
