Default 1996 TAHOE RADIO/CD PLAYER QUESTION

I've got a 96 Tahoe with the Stock AM/FM Radio and seperate CD Player below.
Is there any type of a "Swap" (like in the Pontiac Trans Ams) that the stock Tahoe Radio can be swapped out for ANOTHER STOCK GM unit that has the 7 Band EQ built in it?

Don't want to go aftermarket, but would like to be able to EQ the Radio/CD's to compensate for some hearing loss.

I don't want to get into alot (well ANY) rewiring ect.
Just wondering if something is "Swapable" with it?
Roger

Thanks Gary.
I'm gonna have to do some more research as I want to be POSITIVE this will work.
If I have my VIN Number, can I call the Dealership to find out what
Part Number/Pins/Plugs my stock unit is?

Actually most GM Delco radios will not work in the 96 even though the electric connectors may be similar the mountings and pin outs are different.
The only OEM playes that will work in the 95 to 2002 Tahoe are the units listed below:
CD Haad unit GM Part # 16255455
Tape Head Unit GM Part # 16180015
CD Remote "Slave" Unit GM Part # 16231055
Tape Remote "Slave" Unit GM Part # 16252315

Thanks for your response.
Are you always that knowledgable?

Do you work in a Dealershhip?

My original post said I had an AM/FM Radio.

Its actually an AM/FM/CASS with what I guess you call "The Slave" CD unit below,
(if that makes a diference).
