1997 Suburban Weird electrical gremlin
Hello. My Suburban (1997 350 2500 4x4) has a weird electrical issue I'm trying to track down.
At times, the blower motor will shut off and at the same time the shift indicator light goes off, as well as the ABS/Brake light going on. This happens over bumps mostly and not all the time. Also at times the car will not start though I have power for everything else on the car.
I have replaced the starter, both battery cables and the ignition switch. All fuses are good.
Any help is appreciated.

check all of the grounds for each, they may be sharing one or two or three. Then check the wires themselves for good voltage/ohm ratings.
The non starting, does that mean it won't turn over? or it cranks and nothing happens?

Bad ground. I figured it was, but finding it was a different ball game. I drove it to work yesterday and pulled over when it started acting up. Checked voltage at all fuses, OK. Then I proceeded to wiggle every connection under the hood. Bingo, as soon as I wiggle the harness that goes under front if engine everything came back on. Turns out it was a small ground wire at the bottom front passenger side of engine block. Evidently that is the ground for PRNDL light, blower motor and abs/brake lights on dash.
