Ok i was just wondering if ne one out there knows how to or if its possible to make the rear windows of a 1997 tahoe to roll down ne further than 2 inches . Its really anoying when we all get ready to go somewhere and who ever rides in the back has to feel like the president looking threw a 2 inch slit . Well if ne one can help it would really be appreciated.

 

By any chance did you figure this out? I am new to the forum and trying to search for the solution to this as well.

sorry man, no way you can do it because of the way that the bottom of the door wraps around the wheel well. due to the bottom of the door not going straight down that much, you just can't make the window go down. I hated that about my 2000 tahoe z71, I loved how the back window went all the way down on my silverado and avalanche, and well at least my 07 tahoe rear window is not half as bad as the 2000.
