1999 2500 Suburban Braking issue
I have noticed that after driving for a while and the engine bay is hot, not necessarily that I have been braking hard, like if I come off the interstate after a long drive, that the brake pedal is very, very soft. Almost to the floor and required pumping to brake. Any ideas as to what the culprit may be?
I have new pads and rotors on all 4 wheels and still seem to have the problem.

Clappers?
I did later today find out that I have a little seepage, maybe a couple drops at most under multiple full force brake pumps, from the point where the brake hydrobooster mates to the master cylinder. Would that help with the diagnosis?

A Clapper, is a part of a Disk Brake System
HowStuffWorks "Disc Brake Diagram"
Yes, any leak in that area, could cause a soft pedal, and should be repaired.
