1999 5.7 Tahoe -12 degrees timing
i have a 1999 5.7 tahoe and the PCM retards the timing -12 degrees as soon as you hit the gas. when we changed out the fuel injectors we had a few wires to pop out of the cavity on the harness plug. If a few of these are off ( in he wrong cavity) will it make the PCM change the timing to try and correct the fuel delivery. I know this is probably a weird question but im truly at a lost. BTW we ordered a new PCM and installed it and it still does the same thing as the old one.
