1999 burb LT k1500 steering issue

I just got my burb this month. this is my second chevy but my first 4x4. when driving steering from right to left and vice versa i can feel some play in between . how could i fix this?and just a heads up im in japan not much parts around not to mention trusting shops. any help pls. thnx

You need to have the front end checked. Based on it age it probably has some bad parts. Do they have repair shops in Japan that work on American cars and trucks?

none that i totally trust. i can do the labor just havn't had the time to get under the hood. its kind of scary going down hill and braking at the same time
the burb wants to veir off but have to counter. i ask the dealer and he said that american cars tend to have that kind of play, which in i know they don't maybe a little or just a tad but not like this.
