My K2500 suburban with a 7.4L needs a new intake manifold gasket. How hard is that to replace? Is there a step by step instruction, or maybe a haynes manual for it? Just wondering if anyone has done it, or knows how hard it is. Maybe someone knows something I should look for to not break or something to look at replacing while in there?!?

 

You should get a Haynes manual for replacement so that you have the correct torque specs & pattern. Auto Zone, Advance, or one of those stores should have it or be able to get it for you.

 

I had mine done after watching videos on YouTube. I was worried I might break an injector rail and such. runs way better now, no codes.
