I think it is common knowledge that the brakes on the 1999 Suburbans are junk.

The pedal has no feel, unless you count "mush" as feel.

I was checking out RockAuto and they list a hyrdo-boost as part of the heavy duty brake package. For about $250, I can get the booster and hoses... is this a viable fix and will it fit in my C1500 series firewall without cutting and welding - or much cutting and welding?

From my perspective, it should be a near plug/play fitment... but ya never know.

Does it also require a different master cylinder?
