1999 Suburban Hard 1-2
Good Morning folks,
As my first post, I have a question. Feel free to correct or forward to a previous thread if its a repeat.
5.7 Gas
4L60E Trans
I have been having a hard 1-2 shift after the transmission gets to operating temperature. Afterwards will get a P1870 CEL. I have pulled the pan and changed out the A and B solenoids. But it hasn't alleviated the problem. I am looking into to pulling the valve body and checking all the plungers, or outright replacing the entire valve body.
If it was a bad torque converter, what symptoms or problems should I be looking for?
