I just purchased a 99 4x4 1500 with no engine mods. I will obviously go for the K&N kit, but what else can I do on a budget? Chips? I am mainly looking for fuel economy and HP combined, but those 2 don't usually go together. Exhaust? Hypertech, and settings?

Also, my rims (aluminum) are REALLY oxidized from the previous owner launching a boat in salt water along with some peeling from wear and tear. Any ideas? I need something that really works! The rims are spotted GREEN!
