Question 1999 Suburban Video System

I just purchased a 99 Suburban. I went to replace the VHS player that was in it with a DVD player (under driver's pass seat). I hooked it all up, but i cant figure out the audio. Where does the sound come from, through the stereo speakers? or an external speaker from somewhere? Sorry if this sounds like im slow, just cant figure it out, please help if anyone knows, thanks.

If your vhs is an factory install all you have to do is press the aux button on the radio and your sound should come thru the speakers. If it's a after market setup it maybe set up for wireless headphones. Hope this helps.
