I own a 2000 tahoe (5.3) after disconnecting the negative cable from the battery, and put it back on , my truck is missfiring the rpms are low then the truck dies right away. is there a way to reset my computer? or do I have to do something else?

 

Try disconnecting the Possitive cable (+) and touching the cable to the negative side of the battery for several seconds and then reattach the cable to the battery.
