Default 2000 rear axle swap

I replaced my stock 4.10 rear axle, which blew, with a 3.73 limted slip, it's running well, but I've noticed my transmission is not upshifting as it should. It shifts through the gears fine an does not slip, but I have to back off the throttle a splitt second when accelerating. This only started when I swapped rear axles, is this a result of the different ratios an a computer issue?

Welcome to the forum.

Is the transmission electronically controlled? Not sure what you meant by backing off the throttle when accelerating. Are you saying that the tranny doesn't shift unless you do that?
