I had been hearing a tinny rattle in my front when traveling down our gravel road. After finally taking time to get it checked I found out the upper mount on the front differential was broken. The mechanic said he had the same thing happen on his 4wd Tahoe, also a 2000. He had to remove his and have it welded and strengthened. Anyone out there have a similar problem and fix?
