Alt bearing going bad and replacing alt. If truck has 105 amp and replacing with 130 amp, do i need to change serpentine belt for 130 amp alt. Was told 130 amp alt will have black spacer in middle of alt, 105 won't. Is this correct? Told 2 diff water pumps according to water outlet. 1.88" and 2.05". Any way to tell without removing thermostat or pump from vehicle. replaced pump before but can't remember. Vin #'s, options on vehicle? Thanks
