I have to second what ↑ he said.
Need some info to work with...but in general a transmission problem is not going to make smoke come out of the exhaust pipe...
If you have smoke coming from under the vehicle is likely oil burning off the hot exhaust, or if out the tail pipe its oil or water/coolant...
A transmission could smoke but its going to have to be super hot to do so...

well what going on i notice there like a kind of steam smoke but doesnt smell like coolant.is come after about 5 mins of idleing.when i start it in the morning it doesnt smoke till after 5 min's.but it not coolant smell or nothing.also i have the 706 castech head's.wondering if the transmission could be casuing this also i've check the compression all good.also i've check no smoke out oil dipstick or oil cap.the smoke is like normal smelling too and it does proudce clear water out the exhaust pipe too.i'm wondering if it just the clear water doing it?
