2000 suburban wont communicate with scanner unless I use a jumper wire at the splice

if you jumper the other pins, bypassing the splice, do the other modules communicate with the scan tool?

Yes I can only communicate with the modules 1 by 1.. jump pin a to pin b communicate with ecm only.
Each wire at the splice pack is it's own module.

sounds like you have an issue with the splice. the wiring diagram I have shows a bus connection; all modules connect from there to the dlc.

did you do any of the things I suggest here and in the pm? if you jump the pcm class 2 wire to the dlc wire and the pcm communicates...its not the pcm.

Yes I jumped each wore at the splice pack g205 under dash and was able to communicate with the pcm, bcm, instrument cluster, ebcm, air bag, transfer case. But not the hvac cause I dont have automatic climate control. the snappy scanner dont have the option to check the suspension control module or the cellular phone phone..

the diagram shows all the modules have connection at the splice to the dlc. you confirmed the continuity thru the splice is open..you jumped the splice and the pcm communicates so the pcm is ok.
imo replacing the splice would be the next step.
