Default 2001 Suburban 2500 Towing ???

Hello there,

Just got my first Chevy. 2001 Suburban LT 2500 4x4 8.1L.

I assume the PO didnt tow with this towing machine as the factory brake control wiring harness and 40a fuse was still laying in one of the compartments. I was able to find the location for the 40a fuse (in the underhood fuse panel), but was wondering if there is a relay or another fuse I have to install.

I w3as reading the manual and there is a fuse panel under the dash to the left of the steering column. The manual shows a trailer towing fuse/relay, but I cannot for the life of me associate the picture in the manual with the actual look of the panel. I cannot tell if there is a fuse/relay in the trailer spot because I cannot tell which spot that is.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
D
