2001 Suburban Climate Control Problem
I have an issue with the computer climate control system on my 2001 Suburban.
I usually set it to 74 and forget about it. Recently, however, when set to 74, the A/C blows full blast and doesn't adjust at all.
I have tried adjusting the fan speed, and that works. I tried adjusting the temp to about 80, and the fan speed goes down and it starts blowing warmer air, so I believe that the actuator an blower are working. That behavior also leads me to believe that the computer is controlling the temperature, but it may think that the temperature is higher than it actually is .
I am thinking that it is a problem with the interior temp sensor. Is there any way to test that?
Is there any other ideas that may be out there?
