Default 2001 Suburban Mirror Upgrade

I want to add the big camper tow mirrors from a 2500hd but was wondering if it's plug and play for the turn signals. My suburban has heated and power mirrors already but no turn signal. Thanks in advance.

No, it's not plug and play. The turn signal mirrors were only available starting with the 04 models and the platform upgrade.

Just get the non-signal HD mirrors. I've towed my 30-ft TT well over 10,000 miles with non-signal HD mirrors, and somehow I've survived.

Ok. Thanks. I didn't know they didn't come out until 04. If I get the non-signal ones will those plug right into the harness I have?

Yes, I put the HD towing mirrors on my '01 - heated and power. It was plug and play. Pop off the triangular trim piece on the inside of the door, remove the foam, remove three bolts, unplug the harness. Reverse to install Easy peasy.
